Disabling Wireless Card under Win2000

Hi,

We have recently received a new batch of IBM Thinkpad notebooks in our company and would like to disable the wireless LAN cards under Windows 2000.

Is it possible to disable or hide them so the user does not even know that the card is in the laptop, i.e. so they cannot see it in Device Manager, etc.

Any help would be great, Thanks.

er.. I'm assuming the wireless cards are integrated into the laptop.. otherwise you just remove the card and you're set...

you should be able to disable them in the laptop's BIOS, probably under peripherals.

The only way to have Windows say absolutely nothing about it, would be to disable it in hardware somewhere.
