Disabling traction control on a C230 Kompressor Sport Sedan

there is a button with a triangle and an "!" (exclamation point) on it. just press it and then you will see a light on the console light up big and yellow telling you that it is disabled.

I assumed that there was a way to turn it off. Like pulling a fuse or making a bypass/switch.
