disabling startups in win2k

I recently switched from win98 to win2k and i have a quick question i cant seem to figure out. I want to disable this stupid taskbar icon that keeps coming on at startup for my printer program, but i cant find the option anywhere in the printer program to turn the icon off. I know in win98 you could go through "msconfig" to turn off startup icons, is there anything like this in win2k i can use? thanks.

Hack the registry if you're up to it. Or install a program like

jv16 Power Tools by Jouni Vuorio

...which also has some very useful utilities such as a registry cleaner that won't kill and a temp cleaner. Don't let the fact that it's free throw you ...It's Grrrreat!!!!

...also Mike Lin has a start up control program

Startup Control Panel

Also, works like a charm with XP.

I use startup cop. PC Mag came up with the thing when Win2K Pro came out without msconfig. Morons!🙁

Do a google search for it.
