I know this is a stupid question
I have an old Asus P2B98-XV with PIII 500 running as a file server/steam server. I do not have a sound card installed in the system. Running WinXP and Linux every time I get an error, etc. the system beeps from the motherboard's onboard speaker. Is there any way to disable this? I have selected no sounds theme for WinXP however when I get errors, etc. the system still beeps using the onboard speaker. I would like it where it is completely silent since it is running in a bedroom. Thanks!
