Disabling Smart Tags: HELP!!!!!!!!

I hate microsoft. I dont know what happened, but suddenly, there is a yellow line underlining some of the texts. I hate that more. I am guessing that this is the smart tags technology tha ms is so 'proud' of. Any ideas on how to disable it? I've tried everything, but to no avail.
