Disabling Screensaver for Media Player

Is there a way for Media Player to disable the screensaver while it's playing?

It's really irritating to have to switch it on and off manuall every single time I want to play something longer than 10 minutes (what my timer is set at). It seems obvious that when you're playing a visual media file, you probably won't be needing to mess around the desktop.

On my system, the screen saver never kicks in when Media Player is running. What version of Media Player are you using, and on which OS? I'm on Win2K.

No luck. I was thinking there was a registry key that might allow you to do this, but I can't seem to find one. Anyways, how about just downloading a utility that will allow you to disable the screensaver?

Thanks for the advice, but what do you mean?

Another media player that allows automatic disbaling of the screensaver?

No, I mean download a free program that would disable the screensaver for you. I'm sure there must be at least one out there! 🙂
