Disabling Onboard Video

I have a soyo 7ISA+ Motherboard and It has the intel i815 onboard video thing which is a piece of crap, and i have a GeForce2 GTS, so I want to completely disable this, but i cant find a jumper on the motherboard to do so, and also I want to install Linux, but the last few times i did it recognized the intel chipset video and then when i changed it in the settings it still left something so that i cant install the nvidia hardware accelerated drivers correctly. plz help me

there's usually not a jumper to disable onboard video, it's an option in the bios

Actually, the older boards tend to have the jumper, newer ones are in the bios.

Yeah either that, or some just disable video automatically when a AGP card is present.
