Disabling Messenger Service in Windows XP

I keep getting stupid messages from all the advertisers about getting enhancements to certain parts of my body through these services. A window pops up with Messenger Serivce as the title. How do I disable it? Thanks

Computer Management > services > disable messenger service.

However, if you are getting these messages, more than likely other parts of your system are unsecure as well. If someone were to get into your junk, you will wish advertisments were the worst you had to deal with
