My bro kindly got me a basic PC for xmas to use as a file server for emule and the like. It's nice and quiet so I have sat it in my wardrobe in my bedroom. The thing is he didn't give me a keyboard or mouse with it, so when rebooting it for whatever reason I have to steal one from my pc and plug it in just to boot the thing up.

What I need to know is if there is a way to disable the BIOS check so I can boot into windows straight away (without having to plug them both in) and control it from my PC as normal through remote desktop, therefore eradicating ever needing to plug stuff into it again!

It's annoying having to keep swapping keyboard/mouse around every time I need to reboot it!

The PC is a compaq 224303-004. It's a desktop thing he used to use in his office. I can't see anything to identify it I'm afraid :(

Any ideas/help greatly appreciated? :)

Could try this, but this is to make a quick boot, though it may work in your case:

Click on Start and Shutdown.
Click on Restart.
While holding down the Shift Key click on OK.
Windows will now start without posting.

I don't seem to have that option, it just has restart and then does it.
