Disabling IRQ Sharing in XP

I'm having audio problems in XP. Specifically with the game Deus Ex, although I haven't tried running any other games under XP yet( i just installed recently). I've been trying to get a clean dual boot system(98SE/XP) going, and then I want to get a ghost of it.

My stats:

Abit KT7A-Raid (raid disabled for timebeing)
Athlon 1.33/266
512 mb Sdram/266 Micron
Gigabyte Geforce 2...32mb Sdram
SBLive 5.1
Phoebe NIC...generic basically
etc, etc.

The audio problem is that...I can run Deus Ex after a clean boot once...sound is crisp and clear. After I exit and reload the game, the sound is distorted and incomprehensible. I have the IRQ Sharing problem that what looks like everybody seems to have(whether it is a problem or not i'm not sure)..

basically everything is shared on IRQ 11...(NIC, Video, Sound, Modem, and more!)

Is there a way to disable the IRQ sharing in XP?

I want to see if the IRQ sharing is the problem or if it's not. If anybody has any insight into this...I'd appreciate it much.

Thanks,

Ryan

PS. I've seen the FAQ regarding IRQ sharing in WIN XP/2000

If you have seen the FAQ, then you should know how to disabled IRQ sharing, since the procedure is described in there.
