Disabling guest user in Windows ME

A friend of mine has Windows ME and is trying to configure a new user account to be the only permissable way to log onto the computer.

When the system is set up for multiple users and you turn on the computer, you are prompted to select a user. If you click the "Cancel" button at this prompt, it will continue to boot to the desktop with, presumably, a guest account.

Is there any way to disable this guest account. In other words, when prompted to login, if you don't have the password, you shouldn't be able to get to the desktop.

I understand that ME is based off the 9x platform and it's security is extremely limited. I was hoping there was some way. Disabling the guest is cake in NT/2K/XP, but formatting and installing XP isn't an option.

Any advice?

But what you really need is a 3rd party password protect prgram that will password protect your system.
What programs do you recommend? Any that you have experience with?

Thanks for the link.

edit: The link needs registration and a monthly fee. Not sure I'm willing to do that.
