Disabling buttons on side of motorola razr v3

I'm trying to disable the buttons next to the external display on my Razr V3. Sometimes they get pushed in my pocket and changes my ring style from silent to loud. This is unacceptable. I need to be absolutely sure that my phone will never go off during a class.

If nothing else works, I'm prepared to simply rip the buttons off the phone.

There isn't a way that I know of. I've had this phone for years. You can visit the phone forum websites to find out, but I haven't noticed.

I've rarely had the phone change the ringer while in my pocket. Maybe 1-2 times over the course of 3 years. OR just turn the phone off if you really need it to be silent and just have people leave voicemails or txt messages.
