Disabling autoplay in XP

in the run window:
type gpedit.msc
go to computer configuration>administrative templates>system
enable 'turn off autoplay'
 
Thanks Audiophan , I was wandering the same thing . That pop up "do you want to do this" was getting on my nerves .
