Disabling autoconfig

Everything is connected but on one pc i cannot get on the net. The on board nic is acting up. I cannot get private ip settings to stick. I have a wired smc router(private ip .1) running dhcp (ip range .3 to .10). I have changed cables but still it shows its connected and i can browse the internal network. I can't ping any other pc or main router.




BTW .2 is for a wireless router used as accesspoint

Disable it and get one of the free after rebate PCI NIC.

I tried a linksys pci nic and i have the same problem. I wish there was a way to unistall/customize protocol in xp. It was lot easier in win2k.
