I live in an apartment with WiFi service. I also have my own (faster) FIOS service.
My Asus Z370-E Gaming motherboard sees the WiFi, even with the antenna removed.

Chiefly because of security concerns, I want to disable the WiFi totally.
A search through the BIOS found nothing.

So, how can I disable the WiFi? Hope I don't need another motherboard.
If the BIOS has no fix, could I put terminations on the antenna ports to disable them, or would that harm something.
Thanks

Go to the Windows Control Panel.
Double-click System.
The System Properties panel appears.
Choose the Hardware tab.
Choose Device Manager.
Click the + next to Network Adapters.
Double-click the wireless component.
Its properties are displayed.
Click the Device Usage drop-down arrow.
Select Do Not Use This Device (Disable).
This instructs Windows not to use the drivers associated with it.
