Disable the CD disc detection / autoplay in XP

Can someone tell me how to disable the autoplay / disc detection feature for CDROMs in WinXP? I hate having autoplay's start running, or haveing to click 'take no action' every time I put in a disc!

I've already tried setting default 'take no action' for all disc types, but it still pops up or runs the autoplay!

Did you change the radio button to "take the selected action every time" for all CD drives in all autoplay categories?
 
Go to MS site and grab TweakUI from their download section. It's a powerful tool that allows you to change many things in Windows.
