How do I disable the system speaker in VMware? I dont want sound so I deleted the sound card, but now anything causes the system speaker to beep extreemly loud, and 90% of the time someone is sleeping in this house, so I cant have that since they get mad.
I tried adding this line to the vmx file but it simply does not work:
mks.noBeep = "TRUE"
It still beeps anyway if I get an error message, or if anything needs to produce a sound and realizes theres no sound card.
