Disable Stickykeys?

I use a voice chat software called ventrilo and use the left shift key for push to talk. Sometimes this activates the sticky keys which is a real problem when gaming as it switches the task from my game to desktop. First of all I do not want to use a different key as the left shift is my convienant to my setup. Everytime it happens I tried to uncheck to use sticky keys but it still happens and rechecks it. Is it possilbe I'm not effectively turning stickykeys off. I have no use for stickykeys. Is there a way to uninstall it or manual remove some files within windows to cryple it.
 
Find the "sticky keys" section in "Control Panel>Accessability Options" and see if you can disable it from there.
 
I got it thanks. Unchecking use sticky keys wasn't enough. I had to use the settings button to unclick Use Shortcut,
