disable sound to certain programs in XP?

i downloaded Scarface on morpheus but the volume is low so im playin with my speakers full blast then suddenly i hear this extremely loud UH OH. ah jeez it's ICQ again. that proggies pisses me off how it makes that sound when im listening to music or watchin a video or playin a game

can i disallow ICQ from acessing sound? don't tell me to turn it off or turn the speakers off

I don't have ICQ, but it should have setup options somewhere in the program properties, if not try Control Panel/Sounds and Audio Devices/Sounds and see if ICQ has a some sound options there.
