Disable sound on MSI K7T Pro2a

Disabled the Soundblaster deal in the bios but what else needs to be disabled.
Since i diabled that and UNINSTALLED MSI sound drivers everytime i boot windows finds new hardware...the MSI sound stuff...AC something i think.
Anyhow a step by step to disable would be cool!
Thanks in Advance!!

I can remember exactly what screen this is in, in the bios, but you also need to disable the "LEGACY Audio". Its in a different screen then the onboard audio selection. Disabled both of those and that should turn it off.

Ok did that and it worked fine
But i Still get the WINDOWS message FOUND NEW HARDWARE AC 97...........should i go ahead and install those drivers again so it will stop giving me that damn message everytime i boot up?
Thanks for your Time!

Hmm.... it should have not done it again. 1 of two things are happening here. 1. You are not saving your new bios settings when you are exiting your bios (make sure you have disabled both and saved). or 2. It is picking up another device (maybe your sound card) and is waiting for device drivers for that. I be a work right now, but can help you more in an hour or so when I get home and can check out the correct settings in my bios.

What sound card are trying to install? and what OS?

Installed the SB live X-Gamer in win2000
It works fine too...no problems i can detect with the new sound card.
Just the Found new hardware problem. And it wants to install the AC 97 stuff.
BTW I did save the bios settings.
Thanks again!
