Just got around to installing my GTX760 and I noticed in dxdiag and the system info in the driver windows is allocating 2gb of ram to video memory giving me a total of 4gb. Should this be disabled for better performance or is the shared ram only going to be used for windows applications? I don't want my games attempting to use my system memory because it would clearly be much slower then the gddr5 on the card.

It should use your onboard graphics for low intensity apps and your new GPU for intensive apps. Many disable the igpu. Some claim better results leaving it enabled. Tagging along
