Disable script debugging.......yeah you know

Hey all
On my work comp, everytime i open up ie6, I first need to go to internet options and check disable script debuggging as it wont stay enabled after a reboot, etc or Ill get errors on pages loaded with scripted crap.....

I found a knowledge base article that pointed to Visual Studio6 and a pdm.dll as the culprit. I applied the latest visual studio service pack, and nothing. Didnt fix it.......

What do you think?
Should I wipe out ie6 and reinstall or live with it as Ive been doing.
