Disable pan and scan at 2560x1600 on 30'' monitor?

There's a computer at the office that will pan and scan when the Dell 3008's full resolution is selected.

1. How do you disable that pan and scan and make it output the real full resolution?
2. Also, the catalyst drivers have mixed up and associate the 2560 res with the 17" monitor and 1280 res with the 30". I think this may be causing the pan and scan.

Specs:
Win XP
Radeon 4350 (new drivers)
Dell 3008 (dual link dvi)
Dell 1708 monitor (vga)
