being the only user on the system, i dont have the need for the login option when i boot up. also, in both word and excel it gives me an error (not work prohibiting, but its annoying) that the file is already open by another user. is there any way around this?

I forgot my USB memory thingy so I don't have the answer, but it's been answered enough times that a simple search should find it.
 
I use the auto login feature found on the User's Account. Basically, it just auto log you in when you boot.😎
