I was using Chrome on my Android phone and accidentally tapped on an ad. It redirected a number of times until it got to the last ad which made my phone vibrate. How do I disable this stupid feature?

The vibrate most likely occurred because that is how you had your phone set up for a ring. Some websites use the WebEx call-back feature. Suggest you research your particular phone to find out how to disable the call-back feature.

Why are your initial replies always so completely useless?

Did you try what he suggested? It's one of several valid possibilities for the situation even though it's not exactly what you asked.

Since the vibrate alert is a built in function of the HTML5 API in the Chrome browser, you can install an ad blocker, or possibly a different browser that includes ad blocking by default (Lightning Browser), or a browser that doesn't use HTML5..
