Disable Belkin UPS beep when battery is in use

I have a Belkin F6H550-USB UPS to keep my computer powered in case the power goes out. It makes a loud beeping sound every 10 seconds when the power goes out and the battery mode is active. I would like to disable this sound alarm because I live in a very quiet area and the beep is just too loud. There is no official way to disable the beep as I have already contacted Belkin about it and they said it was designed like that for safety reasons. They also said it's possible to disable the sound by cutting a wire, but that they couldn't tell me which wire to cut and that it would void the warranty.

So, my question is which wire do I cut?

Here's a picture of the inside:

If you're handy with a soldering iron you could probably get the buzzer off.

Or you could break a trace to the buzzer using a razer or something.

I have the 500VA version of the Belkin UPS. You can disable the beep with the Bulldog Plus SW.

Disabling the 'UPS Audible Alarm' in BULLDOG does not disable the buzzer on the UPS unit itself.

Any other ideas?

Problem solved.

I physically pulled the circular buzzer off with my hands and now the beeping is gone. There are two pins sticking out of the buzzer so I'm pretty sure I could just pop it back in if I wanted the annoying beeper back.

Whatcha get for buying Belkin... Quality products aren't part of Belkin's business plan. High margin, add-on sales for the big box stores is the name of the game.
