So this guy calls me up and tells me about an opening. When I tell him that its not that exciting he bumps up the rate by $20 /hr. Now I tell him its good and he names the company and doesn't let out other details. Moves around with the day and time of the interview and then today at noon one of his partner tells me that the company is a starter and has 6 people. The position says lead developer, with six people in company and 5 part of the management who I am going to lead ? When I ask him, he says there are 10-15 programers who are hired as and when required but 6 are permanent employees.
Now we decided that I would not take anything less than 6 months of contract and when I asked him today he said it like for 4 months and could get extended. I just got frustrated and tell him that I wasn't going for the interview. Why do people do that ? Can't they be frank beforehand ?
