Dirty Heads is a hip-hop/ska/reggae group, they kind of mix their styles up differently across their first album.
Recently [I guess], they "covered" the Stones' "Paint it Black". Give it their own little flavor and throw in a short rapped section.

A few days ago, they performed an acoustic version for Billboard.com.

I like the majority of the acoustic version, but the rap feels weakly performed acoustically. But they retained their style from the normal version.
No idea when or where they performed the normal version - sounds like a full performance, but can't tell if it was live or during a studio session.
I know people here hate rap, and hate when insanely awesome songs from the past are covered/redone by modern groups. This definitely cannot replace the original by the Rolling Stones, but it definitely is accepted into my music collection (though stuck on youtube for now
).
