Heh, that vehicle with the pipes coming straight up from the engine is too funny!

It looks ridiculous but it was the most reliable and fastest. I think it won but not sure because at the end of that race they were pushing cars off the track.
 
Some history related to this girl's "Long live cowgirls" sticker... Hawaii has a cowboy culture that goes back 175 years, 50 years before Texans started cattle herding. Mexican vaqueros were brought by King Kamehameha III to teach Hawaiians how to raise cattle and then left. The Hawaiian word for cowboy is "paniolo", from Espanol or Hispaniolo. They also brought their guitars which lead to the Hawaiian slack key guitar tradition.
