Dirt 3 flickering?

Playing on vista 64 bit with 580's sli'd

The actual game plays fine under dx11. However, during the menu's I get occasional flickering (damn annoying) -- the game is through Steam and is fully patched (I think there was an earlier update that addresed a related problem?).

Anyone else get this?...any fix?...already tried vsync to no avail.

Will try forcing dx9 tonight and see if that helps.

I get this too during menus, and as the race shows the starting scenery transitions. I have 2x GTX 670's in SLI with Windows 8.1 Preview. Did you ever figure out how to fix the flickering with Dirt 3?
