Game looks good, got great reviews, didn't see this posted yet. $20 is an awesome deal for this game. I don't have a CC, I have a Amex GC from Xmas but the balance is $19. So it's sitting here staring at me and mocking me lol.

Deal is good 'till Monday. WOOP for Steams awesome deals.

I just bit. DiRT is my favorite game. DiRT 2 should be just that much better.

Hopefully my first gen Impreza is still there. Nothing like driving your own car in a video game :)

I'm tempted to buy it, but two things are working against me.

1. I have too many games
2. I really don't have the money to spend this month.

I think I'll wait, because in a few months time, it might be on another sale for less than $10 (like GRID)

I picked up the PS3 version of Dirt 2 and strongly recommend it. You'll be waiting a lot longer to get it for $20 though, so if you're looking to play it in the next six months then this steam deal is pretty good.

Awesome - at least there is a demo you can try out to see if you like it or not. :)

Is it any good without an actual wheel, etc? Seems like it would be pretty awkward using the keyboard.

This game is very, very cool. I'd recommend it to anyone, and I'm not normally into rally racing games.

I haven't played it with keyboard but it works beautifully with the XBox 360 controller.

Hmm, should I bite? 10gb though. hmm. Gotta phone my ISP because I'm apparently paying for 14mbps service. Probably need a new modem.

How's the DirectX 11 performance on this game?

comes free with my 5850 through Steam. I haven't really played a racing game since the original GT on PS1.

is it worth it on a keyboard? I think I have some old USB gamepad for PC floating around here....

You can setup the keyboard controls "dead zone" so it's not insta on/off - so you can adjust driving with the keyboard is if you were using an analog controller.

Ugh why would anyone play any racing game on the keyboard? It's never going to be a good experience.

Especially when you can get a good gamepad for about $30, or less.

I have a third party 360 controller but it has a huge deadzone on it that seems to be a design flaw. I'll have to get the DualShock drivers installed. I have a racing wheel too (Logitech Driving Force GT) but after the big fight GRID put up with it, I'm not sure if I'm keen on using it.

Game looks and plays well though. Still the floating controls of Dirt 1. I'm getting a good 30fps on my system, though I think I can squeeze more out of it if I OC my CPU a bit.

I tried the demo when it came out and it had some serious issues with ati cards, where the trailer inside was super slow and messed up. Have they fixed that yet?

Works fine on my end. Could have just been the drivers.
