I just installed directx9 onto my computer and now my games wont play but a few sounds it is really annoying, when i test direct sound it always fails at step 20 (DirectSound test results: Failure at step 20 (User verification of hardware): HRESULT = 0x00000000 (error code)) now i hgave tried reinstalling directx9 i also installed directx8 to see if that worked but it still messes up can anyone help me, thnx
