Got a little problem -- I installed directx 8.1 (not bright), now I get a message that "This pre-release version of DirectX has expired, please upgrade to the latest version from http://www.microsoft.com/directx" Tried that and get the same message -- what to do?
 
why is M$ releasing a beta version of direct x 8.1 and putting a expiration date when it is a freeware program?
