Hey all,
I've recently installed Windows XP Pro on my machine, and so far i'm very happy with it's performance. I just went on an install sweep of all the games i play, and on one i remember leaving the choice to install "DirectX Media". I thought, well I might need this, so i let it install. It turns out i couldn't play that game on NT systems anyway, so I installed it and went to install another game. It installed all fine but when i went to run it, there was no display. i.e. there was sound, but no display on my monitor, it was just blank.
My only conclusion to this is that DirectX Media shouldn't have been on XP, and this game doesn't like it at all. But I can't find how to uninstall it.. there is no option for it on XP.
Anyone have any ideas what the problem might be, and if it's DirectX Media, how I can remove it from my system?
Thanks
