Directx install help needed

I got an error msg - d3dcompiler_43.dll not found, which sounds like a directx problem. I've got a fairly clean install (not many apps, msvc runtimes installed yet) of windows10 that comes with dx11.2 standard.

I thought the later versions of directx would include support for preceding versions?
So what version of dx do I need to install? Some forum searches said the June2010 redistributable was the one to fix the missing dll problem. Would this link be the updated version?

The most up-to-date version of DX9, yes.

Yeah it appears that the error msg is related to dx9. Thanks.
