Directx, Flash, Sound Problems....FOR THE LOVE OF COMPUTERS

Ok Im having a bizzare Problem...My configuration is the following.

Hardware Specs:

Opteron 146 (2 GHZ) @ 2.85G
Gskill PC3200 2 GB (1GB Modules)@ 229MHZ at 2.5-5-3-2-1T
MSI K8N Neo 4 Platinium
ATI X800 Stock w/ Latest drivers
160GB OS drive
4 - 300GB Mirrored (Data Drives)
NEC3550

Software Specs:
Windows MCE 2005 w/ Rollup 2 + windows updates
Latest drivers across the board (Sound, Nic, Video)
Directx 9.0c
Flash 8
IE 6 and Fire fox 1.5

The problem:
When ever I try to play flash videos the sound is really really low...Most people report that the sound is not there but it is its just really really low.

I thought that it was problem with flash. So I uninstalled the plugin across both browsers reverted to flash 7 (Same problem) re upgraded to 8 (same problem)

Then I discovered that While running Pinnacle studio my video didnt have audio (More about that in a sec)

Everyother audio works...so I thought.

Ive confirmed audio works in the following...Winamp, media player, I dont play games so I dont know, stand alone videos work too (Divx, AVI, MPG) dont knwo about MOV and flash doesnt work.

I got the hunch to run dxdiag to check things out after some research regarding the problem and flash (I thought thats all that was affected)

I restored MSACM32.* (The codecs for windows) just in case they got over written. Same problem.

Anyway with dxdiag I tried the direct sound test...It says its playing but nothing.
I also noticed that the windows sounds dont play any more. So I decided to check the default audio device which is set as my default of course.

I had came to the conclusion that it was directsound (directx) componet causing the issue...While it didnt make much sense its the only thing I could think of.

I managed to get a full reinstall of directx 9.0c and the problem is still there...

I am trying to avoid doing a format. I dont know how long it hasnt been working. I just discovered it recently.

Any ideas would be great...

I did revert back to stock...and the problem was still there. Sorry if I forgot to mention that. I alos have the latest bios.
