well, I can't find anything about this on any website. When I installed directx 9, this is what I got = DxDiag Previously: Crashed in system information (stage 1) & DirectSound (stage 1) & DirectMusic (stage 2) & DirectShow (stage 1) I upgraded to play Splinter Cell and now it just freezes the whole computer at the very beginning of the game. Is there anyway to fix this? any ideals except for a complete reformat?
