Is anyone using the Direct X 9 beta?
Care to share your experience? I have heard
some stories of massive fps boosts and better
sound in certain games using it.

ive also heard that if you problems you CANT uninstall DX9 so be careful all.

If you have XP set a restore point before you try it....
No I didn't see any big boosts, but since I don't think anyone has any real DX9 compliant video cards I don't imagine there would be much of a boost..

When DirectX 9 beta expires in August yer gonna have to reformat and reinstall Windows and everything else, too! Why use it when you don't have a DirectX 9-compliant videocard or game?
