DirectX 9.0c Install/Update - Crazy Problem

I have the Directx 9 b and I tried to upgade it to the c version ...every time I click NEXT in the installtion wizard ,, directly It tells me that installtion complete without copying any files .....

Is there a way to remove the old directx files and install the new ones ...

I tried many versions ( from internet, CD games , DVD games , VGA card cd ) and all have the same result

Even if I try to install older version like 8.1, it tells me installtion complete rushly.

I extracted all the dll and vxd from the directx9c and overwrite them at the system32 in the safe mode ... and every thing goes fine ...I run the dxdiag and done all the tests. But DXDIAG still shows my version as 8.1.

Is there *any* way out of this crazy problem?

Try DirectX Happy Uninstall.

Actually its working now. I put all the files in the system32 directory. Now, even though it dxdiag says its directx 8.1 and shows a few problems with new files in that directory, a 9.0c game (Sid Meier's Pirates) is running fine. So, i guess its okay now.
