DirectX 8 <-- how to unintsall?? Please HELP!!!!

Damn i just installled directx 8 and it keeps saying &quot;direct Draw has expired please Update&quot; blaha blha.... and this msg apperas like at least 10 times while i try to play UT.......

now i wanna reinstall to Directx 7 but it says &quot; DirectX setup has determined that a newr version of DriectX is already installed. No installation was necessary&quot; Damn....

I have not tried that hack but it is completly possible that it would leave your system unstable. Snip from MS's site:

NOTICE: After installation, the DirectX 8.0 run time cannot be uninstalled. DirectX is a system component. It cannot be uninstalled without reinstalling your operating system.
