DirectX 8 Final available

i downloaded it and installed the new "leaked" detonators that are suppossed to be for it and got the following results using 3dmark 2000, first run with detonator 6.47 and direct X 7 i got 4633 default benchmark and then i installed direct X 8 and detonator 7.17 and got 4474 default benchmark. this is on ASUS A7V with duron 600, 256 meg micron PC133 and a ASUS V6800 GEFORCE DDR.

Now we'll see if ATI Radeon is really optimize for Direct X8 like they advertise.

But wait, it will probably be a couple of more month until I can get my hand on some updated driver(beside the leaked 7020) from ATI.
