Congrats! :D I loved having DirecTV TiVo but when I moved I couldn't keep it. :(

I have Replay now but I don't like it nearly as much.

It's just so damn cool! :)

My wife and I don't have a whole lot of time to watch TV... Generally, we have an hour or two after the kids go to bed. And there's not always something on that we want to see, when that hour or two comes along.

Last night is an excellent example. Usually, at ~10:00 on a Friday night, there is NOTHING of interest to watch. But we had plenty of shows to choose from that had been recorded automatically throughout the last few days.

Good stuff! :)

My DirecTIVO is waiting for me in another room, I might attempt to install it tonight.

P.S. I only paid $50 for mine :)

P.P.S. I paid $99 for mine... INSTALLED! Knowing that I wasn't the guy crawling around under my house to install two new lines was EASILY worth the extra $50! :p

We already have DirecTV satellite service so no new wiring for us.

But I agree, otherwise $99 installed would be a Hot Deal.

You need two lines to use both tuners with TiVo.
