A dual LNB DIRECTV system and standard professional installation for only their shipping charge($25). It is DIRECTV's Friends and Family Program, just call their hot line, (877) 407-4344, and use this guy's name: Mark Hannah, and payroll number: R8479. This guy may get a vacation trip or something, but you can't beat getting the system for only $25. But you do need to sign up for their Total Choice Programming ($31.99/mo).

Yeah, but what hardware is it? I wouldn't get anything else than the Sony systems, preferrably the A55.

Yeah, I got the spam email for a similar DTV deal. Lets check to see if its the same phone number.

::MrBond runs to his Netscape Mail::

Crap, musta deleted it. This is a referal deal anyway, so it should be locked. There are plenty of good DTV deals out there, you just have to check around

Doesn't matter (to me at least) if he is the employee making the offer. It's a great offer. I paid $150 for my dual LNB DirecTV.

If you can offer me a truly great deal at where you work send it on!

Besides my understanding is that DirecTV employees only get a couple of bucks or registered for chance to win a vacation.

Yeah...if we save some money here, who cares if someone else gets to benefit too???

What's with all this "totally me" crap...a hot deal is a hot deal.

It doesn't matter, if the deal is hot or not. Remember the site that would send you a palm II if you refered x amount of friends? They were locked quickly due to the fact that referal deals are not allowed here. This seems like a referal deal to me...

but that's very arguably different...with that, you had to screw x amount of people to get the Palm.

With this, everyone seems to win, no?

Okay peeps, Here is the deal. I worked for Hughes Space and Comm and now Boeing (since we were bought by them.) What this deal is called is friends and family. Basically this is some directv guy and they get to give away as many DTV systems free to friends and family (was limited to 5 before.) You are required to get one month of the total package which is 32.99 and the reciever costs 27 after shipping. I signed up and the DTV guy is coming to install it tomorrow. This deal ends at the end of the year. Also I signed up with somone else who worked at DTV not this guy. I do not belive they get a kickback for this. I was wonderng how long till somone posted some guys name and payroll numebr on one of these boards. If you ahve any other questions abtou the deal just ask me being I work with DTV gyus all the time.

MrBond please dont play forum cop before making such comments...

This deal has been on Fatwallet deals forum for some time, its a deal ONLY open to friends and family of Directv employees, so thats the ONLY way to get it, and its HOT!! The employee gets some credit for the deal but you cant get the deal without the payroll CODE...

OK, here's the whole deal. Please read for yourselves, goto
friends and family deal.
It's true, my friend may win a vacation, but no one can get a deal like this without his name (Mark Hannah) and payroll code (R8479). Everyone wins with this deal.

I have a Hughes system, and my parents have a Sony system. There's really no difference in quality between the hardware. The software is different (menus, options, etc..) But I actually prefer the Hughes system.

This is a great deal. I just (literally) got a DirecTV Plus system (required for Local Channels in Raleigh, NC)and an extra receiver for 130.00. We paid almost 4 times that (500.00) for the dish with 2 receivers we purchased for work 3 months ago. Thanks a bunch Monkeyyuan!!! :) I hope somebody gets a killer vacation out of this. ;)

OK, this looks like a legit deal (ok, been wrong before, at least I can admit it). I recieved the same spam message I had before again this afternoon (doesn't it suck when you get on one mailing list, and several companies buy it?) and it has a different phone number then this one.

I'm not trying to play forum cop....my suggestion that it should be locked for being a referal deal was based on little info, other then the fact that we did have to mention one guy in particular, and that my email is showing up with so-called satallite dish deals. I didn't want some people to get screwed like a few did with the $149 apex dvd player that was posted here.

I took advantage of this deal about two weeks ago. Two receivers shipped & installed for $141. Installer spent about three hours at my house on a Saturday morning. The number you call is dedicated to this program... no hassles... extremely polite... suggested weekend install. Everything taken care of in a single call... ordering, install appointment, programming.

Happily ditched those cable company pricks the following Monday.

Receivers are RCA DRD420RE. Cards are both HU.

The 2nd receiver, at $99, is mildly overpriced compared to e_bay, but when considered with the the free additional install it makes the package quite the sweet deal.
