Ok, this isn't a computer question. I just bought a DirecTV receiver over in FS/T because it's supposed to pick up OTA HD. Problem is, it didn't come with an access card and I can't access the option to select "No Dish" without it. My question is, what type of access card do I need? I notice P3, P4, P6, etc. cards on ebay. Do they all work?
 
It takes a P4 or D5 card .. the only way to get this type of card authorized
for use is by Direct TV .... P3 or HU cards no longer will work
As to "over the air HD" ... you need a special antenna for it and there
are also not very many over the air hd stations
 
I was under the impression I just need the presence of the DirecTV card and not an activated card. Like a used card which has been deactivated by the original owner.
