I've had my DirecTV service for over two years now and am technically out of contract with them. My service is on hold for the moment while I am in the process of relocating to another state.

Is it worth it to say on as an existing customer or am I better off starting new service with them to take advantage of their current offers (like NFL sunday ticket plus all their channels). I figure it might be better to get new equipment anyways. What ya'll think?

You could always call their retention number and see what you can get. I called a few weeks ago and got their HD-Tivo for free.

Just be aware that they will probably require you to sign a two-year contract.

edit: Retention number - 1-800-824-9081
