We got the new Directv DSL (telocity) and they sent us a modem/router type of deal.
We purchased a gateway/router and nothing worked. We assumed it's probably because the dsl modem is the gateway. We brought in a hub and still nothing works. We called Directv DSL and they told us we need to pay $9.99 extra per month.

Can anyone help me?

if all computers are on the hub/router and it still doesn't work, try buying a network programming called sygate. It is really easy and does almost everything automatically

Purchase a program called Sygate? Does this seem to work with the problem I have?

I have directtvdsl (telocity) and it does work with a router. Did they send you just the modem or modem and a router because I think there was a deal where they included one free.

When you hooked it up to the hub, did you set up ICS on your computer and have all of the other computer point to yours? You'll need 2 nic's in your computer for that to work. 1 with the DSL going in and 1 going out to the hub. Have ICS enabled on the NIC going out to the hub, and set up the other computers accordingly.
