I just recently moved my new rig into another room along with my Logitech Z-680 speakers, but now it doesn't want to work on me. When I try to play anything that requires sound, it comes up: DirectSound output v2.2.11 error. Error creating DirectSound buffer. Error code: 88780078. Does anyone know how to fix this? This error only occurs when my speakers are plugged in, my headphones work fine. Thanks in advance.
 
What happens if you set your sound options to 2.1 mode when you have your Z-680s plugged in? You can try downloading the DirectX 9.0C Redistributable Pack here and running that to see if it fixes your problem.
