I have DX9.0C and do not know a way to totally uninstall it....reinstalling it does nothing (does not install anything, it sees that i have everything needed and it finishes, it doesn't overwrite) for playback of videos. Videos cant be playbacked in IE or Firefox. I installed FFDshow and still no improvement. I also installed the codec packs from microsoft.
