directory of public wsdl services?

guys, i'm giving a presentation on using Adobe Interactive forms in SAP in November... i;m giving a small example of the ability for it to call external web services.

does anyone have an example of a wsdl I can point it to?

it works fine with our internal services - im just not finding (or looking in the right places) any that I can reach past our firewall.

Google, Amazon, Yahoo, and Microsoft are among the big companies with publicly available service APIs. I have used Google's REST API, but I don't know if they provide WSDL for their entry points. You can find documentation at http://code.google.com/apis/ajaxsearch/documentation/.

I knew a guy who threw together a WSDL demo using Amazon's web services. They offer a surprising amount of data for free through thier service.

I dont know how Adboe uses them, but in visual studio, you give it a URL of the service, and boom, you can browse the whole object model and all the services available wuit easily.

it turns out that I can only use document binding - not rpc - whatever that means.. so the web services i've found, including that amazon one, haven't worked.

i did just find http://www.jasongaylord.com/webservices/zipcodes.asmx?wsdl

I am able to load it.. trying to get it to work now
