Directdraw beta expired?? need some advice!

hey all...i installed DX8 beta on my win2k system and it was working great until i got this message that directdraw has expired and to update it??? happens everytime i load a game like starcraft or the sims. any adive on how to uninstall DX8 or maybe update directdraw?
